- The Lady Flames earned a 2-1 series win at Missouri State last weekend, outscoring the Bears 15-1 in a doubleheader sweep on Friday after being shut out on Thursday. Danner Allen tossed a five-inning no-hitter in game three of the series, Liberty's second no-hitter of the season (also Camden Anders at Middle Tennessee, March 14). Liberty is tied with WKU for second in CUSA standings, and the Lady Flames host the Hilltoppers in a key three-game series, Friday through Sunday.
- Duke is second in the ACC with a 13-2 conference record after sweeping Virginia this past weekend. The Blue Devils, who are ranked 15th by D1Softball this week, trail only Florida State (12-0) in ACC standings. Liberty sophomore pitcher Gabby Mike transferred from Duke following the 2025 season.
- Liberty is 0-7 against Top 25 teams so far this season. From 2018 through 2025, the Lady Flames averaged three wins over nationally-ranked teams per year.
- Brynn McManus was named CUSA Player of the Week for the second time this season, Sunday. She batted .714 (10-for-14) with two doubles and five RBI last week, and has posted five straight multiple-hit games. On Friday, she became the 15th player in program history to reach 100 career RBI.
- Dani Lee has hits in each of her last eight games, making her first seven career starts during that span. Ella Fox' nine-game hitting streak, March 13-28, was the longest by a Lady Flame so far this season.
- Five Lady Flames hit .300 or better. Ella Fox (.339) has scored a team-leading 28 runs, while Alexia Carrasquillo (.339) leads the Lady Flames in both homers (9) and RBI (30). Savannah Jessee (.324) has recorded six home runs and 22 RBI, while Brynn McManus has recorded seven homers and 27 RBI.
- Camden Anders (9-3, 3.21 ERA) is a perfect 6-0 in Conference USA games after striking out a career-high eight in six shutout innings during a 7-1 win at Missouri State, Friday. Anders is second in CUSA with a 1.75 conference-only ERA. Danner Allen (5-1, 5.13) has posted two shutouts, including her no-hitter at Missouri State, Friday. Gabby Mike (2-8, 3.77) struck out a career-high seven batters on Thursday at Missouri State, while Abigail Findlay (1-1, 3.71) posted a three-strikeout inning on Friday.
