Sparky’s Reading Program
Program Overview:
Welcome to Sparky’s Reading Program, presented by Liberty University Athletics! The program is designed to encourage elementary school students to participate and get excited about reading! There are three trimesters that schools and students can participate in to win a prize courtesy of LU Athletics!

Fall Trimester (September 1-30):- Pre-K to 3rd grade
- For every book read, your name will be put into a drawing for a prize
- Five books = Entered to win a signed football by Coach Chadwell
- Seven books = One student ticket + two guest tickets to the 11/29 football game (digital tickets)
- 4th grade to 5th grade
- For every book read, students will be put into a drawing for a prize
- Three books = Entered to win a signed football by Coach Chadwell
- Four books = One student ticket + two guest tickets to the 11/29 football game (digital tickets)
- Pre-K to 3rd grade
- For every book read, your name will be put into a drawing for a prize.
- Five books = One student + two guest basketball tickets to the women's basketball game on Jan. 8 vs Sam Houston
- Seven books = One student + two guest basketball tickets to the men's basketball game on Dec. 16 vs Midway
- 4th grade to 5th grade
- For every book read, your name will be put into a drawing for a prize
- Three books = One student + two guest basketball tickets to the women's basketball game on Jan. 8 vs Sam Houston
- Four books = One student + two guest basketball tickets to the men's basketball game on Dec. 16 vs Midway
- Pre-K to 3rd Grade
- Five books = One student + two guest baseball vouchers to any baseball game (excludes April 21 vs. Duke, May 5 vs Virginia Tech, May 13 vs Wake Forest)
- Seven books = Student will be entered in for a chance to throw the first pitch at either a baseball or softball game
- 4th grade to 5th grade
- Three books = One student + two guest baseball vouchers to any baseball game (excludes April 21 vs. Duke, May 5 vs Virginia Tech, May 13 vs Wake Forest)
- Four books = Student will be entered in for a chance to throw the first pitch at either a baseball or softball game
