With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 26-23, 12-12 in Conference USA play. Meanwhile, the Lady Flames fall to 23-26, 15-9 in conference games.

Turning Point
- Liberty held a 4-0 lead entering the top of the fifth inning. LA Tech loaded the bases with nobody out. Gracie Flores then hit a two-run single. The Bulldogs scored six total runs in the fifth, capitalizing on one error during the frame.
- After LA Tech scored twice in the sixth to take an 8-4 lead, Liberty rallied in the home half. Brynn McManus singled and Savannah Jessee walked. Alexia Carrasquillo then narrowed the gap to 8-7 with a three-run homer.
- The Bulldogs added an insurance run on Reagan Marchant's homer in the top of the seventh. Bryannah Campos then pitched a 1-2-3 seventh to complete the sweep.
- Liberty outhit LA Tech 11-7 for the game. The Lady Flames scored four runs on nine hits over the first three innings. Both teams committed two errors.
- Bryannah Campos (7-3) claimed the victory for the second day in a row, allowing three runs on two hits, walking two and fanning three in 4 1/3 innings of relief..
- Camden Anders (11-5) drew the loss, allowing five runs one four hits, walking four and striking out four in 4 1/3 innings. She was followed by relievers Danner Allen, Kaylan Yoder and Abigail Findlay.
- Reagan Marchant batted 2-for-4 with a homer, three RBI and one run scored for LA Tech. Gracie Flores batted 2-for-3 with two RBI.
- Alexia Carrasquillo batted 3-for-4 with a homer, tying her career high with four RBI. Bryn McManus, Savannah Nash and Brooke Roberts (2 RBI) had two hits each, while McManus scored twice.
- Liberty is now 11-3 all-time against Louisiana Tech in softball, including 9-3 since joining Conference USA prior to the 2024 season.
- This is only Liberty's second conference series lost in 25 total CUSA regular-season series since joining the conference prior to the 2024 season.
- This weekend marked the first time since April 24-26, 2015 at Winthrop in which Liberty has been swept in a three-game conference series.
- Carrasquillo hit her team-leading 11th home run of the season. Her four RBI tie Brynn McManus (March 29 vs. Delaware) for the most RBI by a Lady Flame in a single game this season.
The Lady Flames wrap up their home schedule on Tuesday, welcoming Virginia to Liberty Softball Stadium. Tuesday's game is set for a 5 p.m. start.
