Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty University is allowing me to become a spiritual leader on and off the field. At Saint Francis, it was hard for me to be a leader when it was a Catholic school, and I was not Catholic. So being at a school that takes pride in being Christian is a great feeling.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
Pregame, I usually drink a coffee and pray on the sideline with however many people want to. Praying is a calming thing for me and allows me to focus my eyes on God in a time that is nerve-wrecking for me.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My dad inspires me, as he has been my rock throughout my life in everything I do. He is my biggest fan and has allowed me to play this sport at every level possible. He taught me from a young age how to play and is the best role model a daughter could ask for.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Last year, my team was playing in our conference tournament. We were going into the 7th inning, losing 2-0 with no hits. One of our freshmen came up and hit a home run. We then had one runner on and two outs when I came up to bat. I then hit a walk-off two-run homer that sent us to the championship game, and we ended up winning the championship! I was also 2025 NEC player of the year and MVP of the NEC tournament.
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I love the number 5, as it has always been my favorite because of Freddie Freeman who played on the Braves (but is now on the Dodgers).
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My brother Peyton Nash played D2 hockey at Liberty.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
I love Mexican food! My favorite meal is a taco, burrito and Mexican rice.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
Messages
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Pickleball!
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have two dogs, a dalmatian named Maverick and a rescue dog named Maggie.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Freddie Freeman
What is your favorite possession and why?
My Bible, as it has all my favorite notes and a lot of life lessons in it.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
“Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Greece! It is beautiful and hopefully I can go there on my honeymoon!
