The Lady Flames (22-23, 15-6 CUSA) won the series, two games to one. The Panthers fall to 29-16, 11-10 in CUSA play.

Turning Point
- FIU broke up a 4-0 shutout with an unearned run in the fourth and then added two in the fifth. The Panthers then loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the sixth, getting a go-ahead, two-run single from Janelle Martinez.
- The Lady Flames were down to their last strike when Paige Doerr hit a single to right, pushing pinch runner Aubry Norris to third with Doerr going to second on the throw. Dani Lee put Liberty ahead with an infield single, scoring both Doerr and Norris for a 6-5 lead.
- After relief pitcher Abigail Findlay walked the first batter of the seventh inning, starting pitcher Camden Anders came back in the game, getting the next three outs to nail down the save.
- FIU outhit Liberty 9-8 for the game. The Panthers committed two errors compared to one miscue by the Lady Flames. FIU left nine runners on base, while Liberty stranded eight.
- Liberty relief pitcher Abigail Findlay (3-1) earned the win, walking two and retiring one in 1/3 of an inning pitched. Starter Camden Anders recorded her third save of the season, pitching 6 2/3 innings between two stints, allowing five runs (three earned) on nine hits, walking four and striking out four.
- Kennedy Byrd (7-6) drew the loss, yielding four runs (three earned) on four hits, walking one and striking out two in 5 1/3 innings pitched in relief of Meagan Villazon.
- Paige Doerr went 3-foir-4 with two runs scored, scoring the game-winning run in the seventh. Maci Strickland and Dani Lee both went 1-for-4 with two RIB. Brynn McManus batted 2-for-4 with one run scored, while Savannah Jessee scored twice. Alexia Carrasquillo went 1-for-4 with a double and one RBI.
- For FIU, Leah Clark batted 3-for-3 with two runs scored for FIU, while Janelle Martinez and Paige Miller both drove in two runs. Kally Meredith batted 2-for03 with one run scored.
