- The Lady Flames went 2-1 against WKU this past weekend in a battle of teams which came into the series tied for second in CUSA standings. Liberty is now in sole possession of second in the CUSA at 13-5. The Lady Flames edged the Hilltoppers 3-2 in game one, getting two RBI from Dani Lee. In game two, Danner Allen, Abigail Findlay and Gabby Mike combined for a six-hit shutout.
- Virginia Tech won two out of three at No. 21 Virginia over the weekend, capped by a four-hit, 11-strikeout combined shutout from Emma Mazzarone and Bre Carrico on Sunday. The Hokies are third in ACC standings with an 11-4 conference mark. Virginia Tech enters the week ranked seventh in the nation in batting average (.364), ninth in homers (73), 11th in runs per game (8.18), 14th in ERA (2.58) and eighth in strikeouts per seven innings (8.18).
- Last season, Virginia Tech won both meetings against Liberty, running its winning streak in the series to eight games. The Hokies outscored the Lady Flames by a combined 15-0 score in 2025.

Camden Anders (10-4, 3.25 ERA) is 7-1 in CUSA games after sustaining her first conference loss, Sunday. Danner Allen (5-2, 5.50) has posted two shutouts, including a no-hitter at Missouri State, April 3. Gabby Mike (2-8, 3.72) struck out a career-high seven batters, April 2 at Missouri State, while Abigail Findlay (2-1, 3.07) picked up her second win of the year, Saturday against WKU.
