- The Lady Flames earned a 2-1 series win over Delaware last weekend, improving to 9-3 in CUSA play and a tie for second in league standings. On Sunday, Brynn McManus' grand slam put Liberty ahead for good during a five-run sixth inning as the Lady Flames won 9-6. It was Liberty's fourth win this year when trailing in the sixth inning or later. Liberty then homered three times in an 11-6 loss to North Carolina.
- Missouri State went 1-2 at Louisiana Tech last weekend, getting a four-hit combined shutout by Emily Koranda and Paityn Engemann in a 3-0 victory in the series finale. The Bears then hosted Missouri on Tuesday, falling 8-5.

- Liberty is a perfect 6-0 in CUSA away games, the only Conference USA team with an unbeaten conference road record this year. The Lady Flames posted back-to-back sweeps at Middle Tennessee and UTEP during a road trip, March 13-21.
- The Lady Flames were predicted as the favorite in the 2026 CUSA Softball Preseason Coaches Poll, while Missouri State tied for 10th in the poll.
- This weekend's series will feature each of the last two CUSA Freshman of the Week honorees in Liberty infielder Maci Strickland (March 23) and Missouri State pitcher Emily Koranda (March 30).
- Liberty posted a 10-6 record during the month of March while batting .314 as a team. After hitting just seven homers during February, the Lady Flames homered 25 times in March.
- Dani Lee has hits in each of her last five games, making her first four career starts during that span. For the season, she has batted .500 (9-for-18) with three doubles, two homers and six RBI.
