
Ryan and Lugiano Spotlight Liberty’s 8th-Place Finish at Bryan Bros Collegiate

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Another top-20 finish for Josh Ryan and a career-round for Michael Lugiano led the Flames to an eighth-place finish at the 2025 Bryan Bros Collegiate.
Ryan finished the event tied for 11th place following a 5-under par 208 (70-68-70), his second top-20 finish of the early 2025-26 season.
Lugiano moved the Flames inside the top 10 in the 15-team field with a career-low 18-hole total during the morning flight on Monday.
The sophomore carded a 5-under par 66, thanks in part to five birdies and an eagle on the par-5, No. 15 hole (508 yards). For the event, Lugiano finished in 23rd place with a 2-under par 211 (71-66-74).
Overall, Liberty carded a 4-over par 856 (287-282-287) at the Solina Golf Club (par 71, 6,827 yards).
This is Liberty's second top-10 finish of the 2025-26 season following a sixth-place showing at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational earlier in the month.
LSU captured the team title in the inaugural playing of this event, carding a 35-under par 817 (273-270-274). The Tigers posted a double-digit under-par score in all three rounds.
Charlotte finished in second place with a 32-under par 820 (271-275-274), followed by a third-place showing for Clemson with a 26-under par 826 (278-274-272).
Tournament host South Carolina finished in fourth place with a 20-under par 832 (281-275-276). Duke's Bryan Kim claimed medalist honors with a 16-under par 197 (66-66-65).
