Flames Continue Fall Slate at Bryan Bros Collegiate

The Flames will begin a busy stretch to close out their fall tournament schedule when they tee it up at the Bryan Bros Collegiate on Monday.

The South Carolina hosted tournament will be the first of three events Liberty plays over a three-week stretch.

Following the Bryan Bros Collegiate, Liberty will close out its four-tournament fall schedule at The Bryson Invitational (Oct. 13-15 โ Daniel Island Club โ Ralston Creek Course; Charleston, S.C.) and the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 19-20 โ Quail Valley Golf Club; Vero Beach, Fla.).

The inaugural Bryan Bros Collegiate will be contested at Solina Golf Club in West Columbia, S.C. (par 71, 6,898 yards).

The Flames opened their 2025-26 schedule with a sixth-place finish at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational, Sept. 5-7. Liberty carded a 4-over par 868 (292-287-289), closing the event with the fifth-best final round in the 10-team field.

Liberty's top finisher in the event was freshman Silas Haarer. The rookie, who competed in the event as an individual, finished tied for 11th place with a 1-under par 215 (72-69-74) during his inaugural collegiate event.

The Flames' top finisher among their starting five golfers was Josh Ryan, who carded an even par 216 (73-71-72) to finish tied for 18th place. Ryan's top 20 finish benefited from him leading the event in par-5 scoring (-7/4.42 scoring average).

Additionally, Ike Joy (74-72-71) and Michael Lugiano (72-72-73) finished one shot behind Ryan in a share of 23rd place with an even par 217.

Play gets underway on Monday morning and the 15-team field will play 36 holes during the event's first day.
