
Lady Flames Hit the Road for a Pair of Matchups

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's lacrosse team (7-3, 2-0 ASUN), winners of seven of its last eight games, looks to stay hot with contests against Queens (3-7, 0-0 ASUN) on Saturday and Louisville (5-6) on Tuesday. Saturday's contest in Charlotte, N.C. is set for a 1 p.m. first draw and will be streamed live on ESPN+. Tuesday's meeting in Louisville, Ky. is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start and will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.
The Lady Flames topped the reigning Atlantic Sun champions Coastal Carolina 15-7, last Saturday.
Goalkeeper Rachel Hines was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week after starring for the Lady Flames against the Chanticleers. The sophomore made 13 saves on 22 shots while adding a career-high seven ground balls, four caused turnovers and her first career assist.
Liberty looks to avenge a pair of home losses against both programs from last season. Queens topped Liberty 18-15 on April 6 while the Cardinals bested the Lady Flames 11-8 on March 21. Liberty hopes to improve on a 2-1 all-time series record against the Royals and seeks its first-ever win against Louisville (0-1).
