Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I knew the coaches and teammates would support me to the fullest extent. I have the opportunity to play the sport I love while serving the Lord. Liberty had/has everything I look for in a college where I know I can succeed.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I listen to music. I try to get into a mental head space that revolves around what I want my game to look like. The team will get excited before we walk out as well.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My parents and siblings inspire me because of how hard they work to accomplish their goals and dreams. We are each in a different place now due to college, therefore we are working towards different things. Watching how well we master each challenge is inspiring.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
When I started my first college game and then made my first college save.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My sister, Mckenzie Hines, plays lacrosse at Radford university.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
I love breakfast food. Bacon specifically.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check all my notifications to see what needs to be answered first.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
I like to read, and I like to spend time with friends.
What is your favorite possession and why?
I love my weighted stuffed animals. I like that I can bring them on away trips.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
