- The Lady Flames split a pair of five-set matches at Middle Tennessee over the weekend, while FIU pushed its conference winning streak to four with two wins over Delaware. The Panthers lost in five sets to FGCU on Tuesday in Fort Myers.
- Liberty enters the week tied for fifth place in CUSA standings at 4-4, while FIU (6-2) is tied for third.
- Each of the Lady Flames' last three matches has gone five sets, the first time since Oct. 1-8, 2022 that Liberty has played three straight five-set matches.
- The Lady Flames' seven five-set wins (7-2) are their most five-set victories since posting nine in 1996.

- Charli Crowson went on a 10-point serving run during the fifth set of Liberty's win at Middle Tennessee, Saturday. She is the second Lady Flame this season to serve for 10 straight points, as Alison Bierwagen served up 10 consecutive points to start the Louisiana Tech match, Sept. 26.
- Liberty hit .305 on Oct. 10 against Kennesaw State. It was the team's eighth match hitting .300 or better this season, the most .300 matches by Liberty since the 2022 season (11).
- Liberty has posted its first-ever volleyball win over a Big Ten team (Rutgers) and Big 12 team (Houston) this season. FIU has beaten Power Four teams Duke and Georgia this year.
- Liberty received Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week honors each of the first five weeks of the 2025 season, in Paige Overcash (three times), Carly O'Brien (Sept. 22) and Jenna Otts (Sept. 29).
- Jeremy White is in his first season at Liberty. He served as head coach at Southeastern Louisiana for the last six years, posting a 113-58 record and leading the Lions to two NCAA Tournaments. Last year, Southeastern posted a nation-leading 24-match winning streak.
- Former Tulsa head coach Ryan Wills (2014-22) serves as an assistant coach. Mackenzie Martin is in her first year as an assistant coach after finishing her playing career at The Citadel last season.
- Liberty welcomes 11 newcomers this season, including four transfers. Graduate students Zoe Hall (TCU) and Shyia Richardson (Louisiana) join the Lady Flames, along with junior Molly Littlefield (Gardner-Webb) and sophomore Layla Collins (Virginia Tech).
