"Receiving the Pinnacle Award is a great honor and a huge testament to the hard work and integrity displayed, every day, by our student-athletes," Head Coach Lang Wedemeyer said.
Liberty is one of two NCAA Division I Women's Soccer programs, along with Montana, to receive the award for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Lady Flames earned a 15-2-4 record last season, finishing the regular season as Conference USA Co-Regular Season Champions. Liberty finished as runners-up in the 2024 CUSA Women's Soccer Championship.
Liberty excelled in academics with an overall 3.64 team GPA. Halle Engle was selected to the 2024 CUSA All-Academic team and was honored on the VaSID Academic All-State team. Ivy Garner was selected as a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American. Six student-athletes, Engle, Ivy Garner, Taylor Mason, Briana Myers, Lauren Littleton and Sallie Garner, were recognized on the CSC Academic All-District team.
