No. 18 Lady Flames to Face JMU on the Road, Tuesday

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The No. 18-ranked Liberty Lady Flames field hockey team will face the James Madison Dukes in a road non-conference match, Tuesday afternoon.
Game time is for 2 p.m. from the JMU Field Hockey Complex in Harrisonburg, Va. The contest can be seen on ESPN+.
Liberty comes into the game with a 9-6 overall mark and having won four of its last five games. The Lady Flames fell 2-1 in overtime at No. 8 UConn, last Friday. JMU enters the match with an 11-4 overall record and on the heels off a 4-0 triumph at Ball State, Sunday.
This is Liberty's final non-conference regular season game of 2024. The Lady Flames will close out regular season play with a BIG EAST home contest against the Georgetown Hoyas (3-12, 1-5 BIG EAST), Friday at 3 p.m. at the Liberty Field Hockey Field.

- Liberty holds a 4-3 all-time record versus JMU, with the squads squaring off each of the last two years. In 2023, the Lady Flames earned a 3-2 home victory over the Dukes on Senior Day. Jodie Conolly scored two times, including the game-winning goal in the 52nd minute.
- Liberty is No. 20 in the most updated NCAA Field Hockey RPI listing. James Madison is ranked 37th.
- Junior Lou Combrinck has four goals, two assists and 10 points over her last five contests.
