The Lady Flames took their first lead of the day at the 50:16 mark, with junior forward Josefina Tomasi scoring the go-ahead goal. After Luna Prieri eliminated a defender along the right baseline and sent a pass to Tomasi, Tomasi evaded a pair of Hoyas defenders and ripped a reverse shot into the left side.
