
Virginia Shuts Out Liberty 3-0, Snapping Lady Flames' 7-Game Winning Streak

Virginia struck for three runs in the bottom of the sixth, backing a three-hit shutout by freshman Eden Bigham in a 3-0 Cavaliers win over Liberty, Tuesday at Palmer Park.
The Cavaliers improve to 27-13 with the win, splitting the season series against Liberty. The Lady Flames (25-14) saw their seven-game winning streak, which began on March 31 against Kennesaw State, come to a close.
