KENNESAW, Ga. – Liberty opened a three-game CUSA series with an 8-2 win over Kennesaw State, Thursday at Bailey Park.

The Lady Flames improve to 24-27, 16-9 in conference play with the victory. Meanwhile, the Owls fall to 7-41, 3-22 in league games following their 16^th straight loss.

Turning Point

KSU narrowed the deficit from 4-0 to 4-2 with a two-run fourth inning.
The Lady Flames gained complete control of the game, scoring four times in the top of the fifth. Dani Lee drew a bases-loaded walk, before Brooke Roberts delivered a two-run double and Ella Fox drove in a run on a groundout.
