Winners of five games in a row, the Liberty Flames head to High Point, N.C., for a midweek contest against the High Point Panthers on Tuesday at Coy Willard Stadium. The contest will be a rematch of last Wednesday's 9-3 Flames' win over the Panthers.
• Tuesday's game is Liberty's first road game since Feb.15 at The Citadel. The Flames are 2-1 on the road due to taking two of three games at The Citadel to start the 2026 season.
• Liberty will play seven of its next 10 games at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium. Besides today's game, both Liberty
games are road games with a contest at UNCG on March 9 and Wake Forest on March 16.
• Liberty head coach Bradley LeCroy is in his second season. LeCroy has led the Flames to a 37-30 record. LeCroy, who has been a head coach for four years, captured his 100th career coaching victory with Liberty's 10-7 victory on Sunday.
LeCroy Picks Up Win 100
• With a 10-5 victory over Hofstra on Sunday, Liberty head coach Bradley LeCroy recorded his 100th career victory.
• In four seasons as a head coach, LeCroy has a .546 career winning percentage (100-83).
• The Flames posted a 30-27 mark in LeCroy's first season as head coach at Liberty. He previously spent two seasons at VCU, where he led the Rams to a 63-53 record.
Out on the Road
• The Flames will play 25 games on the road in 2026. Liberty started the 2026 season, 2-1 on the road, by winning two of three games at The Citadel, Feb. 13-15.
• On Tuesday, Liberty will play its first road game since Feb. 15.
• Liberty finished its regular season with a 10-14 mark on the road in 2025.
Blair Named CUSA Pitcher of the Week for 2nd Time
• After striking out a career-high 12, Ben Blair has been named the CUSA Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. The right-hander earned the honor following a stellarÂ
opening to the season in a 7-3 victory over The Citadel on Feb. 13.
• This time, Blair struck out a career-high 12 in a 7-2 victory over Hofstra to run his record to 2-1 on the year. The right-hander gave up two runs on two hits over seven innings. He walked twoÂ
batters in the contest, while posting his longest outing of 2026.
• The junior right-hander's 12-strikeout game eclipses his previous high of 11. Both totals were achieved in a six-inning effort in a 3-0 win over St. John's on Feb. 14, 2025, and a seven-inningÂ
outing in a 5-4, 10-inning victory versus Middle Tennessee on April 5, 2025.
• Blair combined with reliever Josh Swink to strike out a season-high 17 on Friday evening. The Gretna, Va. native helped the Liberty pitching staff finish the weekend with 28 total strikeouts.
DeCandido Has Big Weekend
The junior hit .462 with six RBI and two runs scored in Liberty's sweep of Hofstra this past weekend. Five of his team-leading six hits were doubles. DeCandido also recorded his first three-hit game in
a 7-2 win on Friday and had a two-hit game in the Flames' 10-7 come-from-behind victory on Sunday.
