
Liberty Sweeps New Mexico State with 7-4 Win

Catcher Kyle Hvidsten belted a two-run home run, his fourth of the season, in the top of the second to give the Flames a lead they never relinquished.
A trio of Liberty pitchers, Bradley Zayac, Jackson Evans and Cooper Harrington combined to hold New Mexico State to four runs on xx hits.
Left fielder Nick Barone went 4-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base to lead the Flames.
Liberty sweeps the series and moves to 18-6 in CUSA play and 54-13 overall. The Flames have won six straight games. New Mexico State falls to 8-16 in conference and 19-27 overall.
