
Missouri State Rallies in Ninth for 12-11 Win Over Liberty

Missouri State catcher Carter Bergman led off the ninth with his eighth home run of the season and center fielder Caden Bogenpohl singled back through the middle of the diamond with one out to score two runs to take a 12-11 lead.
For the second straight day, Liberty moved the tying run into scoring position with two outs. However, reliever Tyler Charlton was able to record the final out to seal the victory for the Bears.
Flames designated hitter Jordan Jaffe had three hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored a run in the contest. In addition, right fielder Ryan Drumm had two hits, was hit by a pitch, knocked in two runs and scored four times for Liberty.
Flames shortstop Tanner Marsh hit his second home run of the season.
Liberty drops to 12-5 overall and 0-2 in CUSA. Missouri State ups its record to 12-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
