Fall Prep for 2027 Baseball Season Underway

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty baseball has begun its fall preparations for the upcoming 2027 season.
The Flames began the "Fall Ball" portion of their fall practice schedule on Sept. 14. The practice will continue at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium every day through Oct. 28.
Head Coach Bradley LeCroy's squad will hold intrasquad scrimmages on Monday, Tuesday and Friday each week. Practice runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
In addition, Liberty will play four exhibition games this fall. The schedule features two home games and two away games. The Flames will play Elon on Oct. 4 and Longwood on Oct. 20 in their two home games. Times have not been determined. Ballpark entry is free, with open seating for all fans. Fall exhibition games may vary in length and format from traditional nine-inning contests at the discretion of each coaching staff.

Oct. 9 Liberty at NC State
Oct. 20 Longwood at Liberty
Liberty will announce its regular season schedule for 2027 at a later date.
