The Bulldogs' five home runs backed reliever Matt Scott's effort as the right-hander entered the game in the second inning and held the Flames hitless over the next five innings.
Scott took over on the mound with the score tied at 2-2 with two men on and one out. The right-hander went on to pitch five scoreless innings, holding Liberty to one hit.
The Flames did threaten in the bottom of the seventh inning, loading the bases with one out. However, Bulldog reliever Justin Bryd retired the next two batters to end the threat and hold Georgia's three-run lead.
Liberty falls to 42-20 on the season. Georgia ups its record to 48-12
