
Lady Flames Take on In-State Rivals, Host No. 24 Virginia Tech and Visit Old Dominion

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty (2-1-1) prepares for another pair of contests, hosting No. 24 Virginia Tech (3-1) on Thursday and traveling to Old Dominion (2-0-1) on Sunday.
Thursday's contest at Osborne Stadium kicks off at 6 p.m., with Sunday's tilt at the ODU Soccer Stadium also set for a 6 p.m. start. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
The Lady Flames are coming off a challenging defeat against No. 17 Virginia. Following a scoreless 70 minutes of play, the Cavaliers managed a pair of scores in the waning minutes to earn the road victory. Liberty also picked up a 1-0 triumph at Charlotte on Thursday.
Liberty looks to repeat history on Thursday after upending No. 21 Virginia Tech 2-1, last season. The victory was Liberty's first-ever triumph over a ranked opponent and catapulted the Lady Flames to their first-ever national ranking (No. 24).
