Women’s Soccer Features Six on CSC Academic All-District® Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's soccer team placed six student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's Soccer team, the organization announced Tuesday. Liberty forwards Halle Engle, Margaret Garner, midfielders Briana Myers and Isabella Wedemyer and defenders Lauren Littleton and Carly Keene all received the recognition.
Engle, Myers and Littleton are being awarded the honor for the second consecutive season.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve, a sophomore academically, have competed in at least 90 percent of their team's games or started 66 percent of matches and own a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.

Halle Engle earned a 3.99 GPA in her major of exercise science: therapeutic sciences, also garnering a selection to the 2025 Conference USA All-Academic team this season. Engle ranked second on the Lady Flames with six goals, 21 points and nine assists, leading to recognition on the CUSA All-Conference second team.
Margaret Garner posted a 4.0 GPA in her major of interior design. The forward played in all but one game for Liberty. She netted the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at FIU.
Briana Myers earned a 3.93 GPA in her MBA following graduating with a bachelor's in exercise science: therapeutic science. She recorded a career-high three goals, three assists and nine points while playing in all 22 games. The midfielder was named to the CUSA All-Conference first team for the first time in her career.
Isabella Wedemeyer holds a 4.0 GPA in her major of criminal justice. The sophomore played in 20 games this season, totaling three goals. She registered 20 shots with nine on goal.
Lauren Littleton earned a 3.87 GPA in her major of biomedical sciences. Littleton led the Liberty backline and was recognized with superlatives as the top CUSA defensive player in the preseason, regular season and championship.
Carly Keene, a defender/winger for the Lady Flames, posted a 3.8 GPA in her major of psychology: counseling. A transfer addition from Lehigh this spring, Keene played in 21 games and made seven starts. She totaled four assists this season.
