
Garner, Littleton and Huber Headline Seven Featured in CUSA Postseason Awards

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty received three 2025 Conference USA Player of the Year awards, including Ivy Garner (Player/Offensive Player of the Year), Lauren Littleton (Defensive) and Peyton Huber (Goalkeeper), along with four others featured among CUSA postseason honors, the conference announced Friday. Midfielder Briana Myers was the fourth Lady Flame named to the CUSA First Team All-Conference, with Halle Engle and Avenley Monteith featured on the second team. Lauren Flax was selected to the CUSA All-Freshman team.
Liberty secured a share of the CUSA Regular Season title with an 11-3-4 (6-0-2 CUSA) record. The Lady Flames enter the 2025 CUSA Women's Soccer Championship as the No. 2 seed for the third consecutive season.
Lynchburg, Va. and Osborne Stadium serve as the host site for the 2025 CUSA Women's Soccer Championship. No. 2 seed Liberty (11-3-4, 6-0-2 CUSA) opens the tournament against No. 7 seed Louisiana Tech (4-12-2, 3-4-1 CUSA). The eight-team and seven-game event begins on Sunday with Liberty's contest at 11 a.m., with the championship on Friday at noon.
Liberty was matched by No. 1 seed Western Kentucky with three CUSA Superlative awards. WKU received the Midfielder of the Year (Georgia Liapis), the Freshman of the Year (Makenna Egan) and the Coach of the Year (Jason Neidell).
The Lady Flames led all teams with four CUSA First Team All-Conference selections. The team also led all CUSA programs with six selections to the CUSA All-Conference teams.

- Led all CUSA players with 10 goals, six assists and 26 points
- Tied for the league lead with four game-winning goals this season
- Ranks No. 8 in the country in shot accuracy with 36 shots on goal on 56 total shots
- Has started all 18 games at forward for Liberty
- Recorded a hat trick in a 4-0 win over UNCG (Sept. 11)
- Finished the season with at least two points in four consecutive games, including goals in three straight contests
- Named the CUSA Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 14
Lauren Littleton, Defender – Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference
- Led a Liberty defense that allowed just three goals (0.17 per game) in CUSA action
- Allowed 5.86 shots per game to CUSA opponents, including 2.00 shots on goal per game.
- Leads Liberty with over 1,400 minutes played in 17 starts.
- Played a full 90-minute game in 12 contests
- Named the CUSA Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 19
- Scored first career goal in a 2-0 win at Delaware and scored in the next game with the game-winner over Sam Houston (2-0 win)
Peyton Huber, Goalkeeper – Goalkeeper of the Year, First Team All-Conference
- One game shy of qualifying for being among the top-10 in the country with a 0.47 goals-against average (GAA)
- Earned a 6-0-2 mark in CUSA play with a 6-1-2 mark overall in 10 appearances
- Led goalkeepers in CUSA play with a 0.40 GAA with three goals allowed in eight starts
- Collected a .800 save percentage with 16 saves on 55 shots faced this season
- Second in CUSA play with four shutouts
Briana Myers, Midfielder – First Team All-Conference
- Recorded career highs and tied for Liberty among midfielders with three goals, two assists (tied) and eight points this season
- Started all 18 games with over 1,250 minutes played
- Recorded 11 games with at least 70 minutes played
- Tallied nine shots with six on goal
Halle Engle, Forward – Second Team All-Conference
- Second on Liberty in all scoring categories and sixth in CUSA (tied) with five goals, tied for second with five assists, tied for fifth in CUSA with 15 points and fourth with 47 shots
- Started in all 18 games for Liberty
- Tallied 25 shots on goal on 47 total shots
- Recorded at least one shot in all but two games this season
Avenley Monteith, Midfielder – Second Team All-Conference
- Tied among Liberty midfielders with a career-high three goals, along with two assists and a career-high eight points
- Started all 18 games for Liberty
- Scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win at New Mexico State
- Recorded 28 shots with eight on goal
Lauren Flax, Forward/Midfielder – All-Freshman Team
- Led Liberty freshmen with six points with two goals and two assists in 11 starts
- Played in all 18 games for Liberty
- Scored the game-winning goal in her first career game in a 3-1 win at East Carolina
- Recorded 19 shots with six on goal
