LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Liberty Flames scored in each of the first six innings and eased past the Quinnipiac Bobcats 16-7, Saturday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Left fielder Noah Rabon had four hits and two doubles and drove in six runs as Liberty pounded out 18 hits in the contest.
Flames second baseman Aidan Sweatt went 3-for-3 and had four RBI, while center fielder Kane Kepley reached base five out of his six plate appearances with two hits and three walks, scoring four times.
Liberty moves to 2-0 on the year, while Quinnipiac falls to 0-2.
