
Liberty Overwhelms North Florida 9-3 to Take Series

Led by third baseman Cam Foster's two home runs, the Liberty Flames sailed past the North Florida Ospreys 9-3 to take the ASUN series, Sunday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Foster had a game-high three hits for the Flames, belting his team-leading seventh and eighth home runs of the season. The third baseman hit solo home runs in the second and the sixth, scoring three times and knocking in two runs.
Liberty built a 7-0 lead through four innings, while Flames pitchers handcuffed the visiting Ospreys throughout the contest.
Liberty wins the three-game series, 2-1. The Flames move to 10-8 in the ASUN and 19-20 overall. North Florida drops to 8-10 in the conference and 22-18 overall.
