
No. 4 Wake Forest Downs Liberty

The No. 4 Wake Forest Demon Deacons eased past the Liberty Flames 12-5, Wednesday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
The Demon Deacons jumped out to a 7-0 lead after three innings en route to the victory.
Right fielder Pierce Bennett had three hits in the game, including a double and two RBI for Wake Forest.
Liberty designated hitter Victor Castillo had two hits and scored a run in the game.
The Flames fall to 7-9 on the season. The Demon Deacons move to 16-2.
