Liberty picked up its second straight road win in conference with a 2-0 win over Jacksonville, Thursday night at Southern Oak Stadium. Liberty is now 9-4-1 this season while Jacksonville drops to 5-7-2. On her birthday, goalkeeper Randi Palacios, picked up her eighth shutout of the season.

Turning Point
Two of the top three offenses in the ASUN squared off at Southern Oak Stadium as Jacksonville went into the game, averaging 1.75 goals per contest and Liberty was able to hold Jacksonville to just two shots on goal. Late in the first half Liberty was able to take the lead off a Lissi Gordon goal, to go into the break with a 1-0 lead. Liberty was able to build onto its lead early in the second half off a Maddy Oliver goal. Liberty’s backline was exceptional, allowing just seven shots throughout the game.
