Liberty capped off Homecoming with a 3-1 win over Stetson, Sunday afternoon at Osborne Stadium. Liberty is now 10-4-1 this season and undefeated in the ASUN East Division while Stetson drops to 5-8-2. Liberty has its first 10-win season since 2019.

Turning Point
Liberty couldn’t have asked for a better first half, scoring a trio of goals that proved to be the difference maker in Sunday’s contest. In the 16th minute, Maddy Oliver scored her second goal this week, giving Liberty the early 1-0 lead and in less than three minutes Liberty was able to extend its lead to 2-0, off a Kasey Jamieson header. Late in the first half, Liberty would get its final goal of the day off a Lissi Gordon goal, inside the box. Stetson did its best to mount a comeback in the second half scoring one goal and attempting four shots, but Liberty’s backline was able to keep its lead intact.
