Toeing it up off the left corner, Gilmore lofted the kick towards the near post, where forward Knoebel headed it into the top of the net for her third goal of the season and a 1-0 visitor lead at 1:59.
Campbell countered off the reset, getting its best scoring opportunity of the half. Midfielder Callie Beckwith broke free from the Lady Flames' defense and lined a shot from the top, left side of the 18-yard box toward the left post during the third minute of play. However, Liberty goalkeeper Holly Van Noord denied the midfielder, making an outstanding save by diving out and deflecting the shot away.

Habuda added the Lady Flames' third goal of the contest at 15:04. Jones threaded a pass by a defender into space for Knoebel, who flicked it ahead to Habuda inside the 18-yard box. The midfielder ripped a shot inside the right post, scoring her sixth goal of the year and building the Liberty lead to 3-0, an advantage the Lady Flames took into halftime

Campbell sent an extra attacker forward trying to get on the scoreboard during the second half. The Liberty defense was up to the challenge, limiting the Camels to three shots, with only one on goal.
