Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I love the culture and the like-minded believers that surround me. I love my team and coaches, the facilities, and the beautiful east coast.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I am not very superstitious, so it always looks a little different.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My dad is the most inspirational person in my life by a mile. He lives with joy, without complaining, working hard to provide, he listens well, loves deep, and invests in others. What I would do to be half the friend, spouse, and parent that he is one day.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
WHEN WE BEAT HAWAII!!!!
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My brother played football at Stanford and Hawaii and is now playing professional football in Japan! My sister played volleyball here at Liberty and at Dallas Baptist University. Now she works for the Cardinals pro football team in sales. My cousin got drafted out of high school to play for the Braves and was recently traded to play for the Mariners.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
BREAKFAST all the way.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check my messages in the morning.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
I love pickleball, hiking, and playing games with friends.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
My siblings were my favorite athletes growing up.
What is your favorite possession and why?
I love my coffee machine that I got for my wedding more than anything.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
Shallows
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
ITALY!!! I’ve been dreaming of Europe for maybe my whole life.
