
Cannings, Colarossi, Icard, Stricklin Named to CSC Academic All-District Team®

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Liberty juniors Kamryn Cannings, Shannon Icard and Sadie Stricklin, along with sophomore Natalie Colarossi, have all been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Swimming & Diving Team®, as announced today by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
To earn inclusion on the team, a student-athlete must be a key contributor and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. In addition, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at their current institution.
Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Cannings carries a 3.93 GPA as an interdisciplinary studies major.
A native of Hershey, Pa., Colarossi is a 4.0 student while majoring in pre-law.
Icard, who hails from Quitman, Ga., holds a 4.0 GPA as a sport management major.
Clarkston, Mich., native Sadie Stricklin, has posted a 3.95 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in aeronautics: commercial/corporate.
The Lady Flames had a successful inaugural campaign as members of the American Conference. Liberty went 6-0 in dual-meet action before placing second at the 2026 American Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Championship. Shannon Icard became the first Liberty diver to compete at the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, while Kamryn Cannings and Aly Bozzuto both swam at nationals.
