LYNCHBURG, VA. – The Liberty Flames eased past the Delaware Blue Hens 11-5 on Saturday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.

The Flames raced out to a 9-0 lead after three innings and never looked back in the contest.

Right fielder Riley DeCandido led the Flames with three hits, two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored in the contest.

Liberty third baseman Jordan Jaffee doubled and tripled in the contest, driving in four runs and scoring two.

The Flames even the three-game series at a game apiece. Liberty ups its record to 14-6 in Conference USA and 30-13 overall. Delaware falls to 2-18 in conference and 13-30 overall.
