
Lady Flames Eye Pivotal Pair of ASUN Contests on the Road

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Lacrosse team (5-9, 3-2 ASUN) can flip the outlook of its season in a pair of Atlantic Sun contests this week at Coastal Carolina (9-6, 2-4 ASUN) on Thursday at 1 p.m. and visiting Queens (3-10, 3-3 ASUN) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Liberty is coming off a split weekend with a 21-7 loss hosting No. 19 Notre Dame and topping Kennesaw State 17-4 for its first home triumph of the season.
Katie Colavito was named the ASUN Offensive Player of the week with a nine-goal output, including four goals against No. 19 Notre Dame.
The Lady Flames have put on their best performances on the road this spring, sporting a 4-1 record away from Lynchburg. The lone loss was a 9-8 2OT loss at USF (April 2).

- Liberty leads the country with 16.29 caused turnovers per game. The team ranks No. 2 nationally with 20.57 ground balls per game.
- Colavito (113) and Klunder (109) rank second and third in program history in career caused turnovers. Brianna McCaffrey (2016-19) holds the top spot with 147.
- Colavito (No. 7) and Klunder (No. 9) rank in the top-10 in career caused turnovers among active players.
- Ava Menna now ranks No. 2 in program history with 236 career draw controls. She trails current assistant coach Lizzy Ferguson (2019-23) with 288.
- Klunder currently ranks fourth in program history with 150 ground balls. She needs four to succeed Chloe McIntosh (155, 2010-13).
