
Liberty Stays Dominant on Road, Earns 10-4 Victory at Coastal Carolina

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Liberty (6-9, 4-2 ASUN) secured a decisive 10-4 victory on the road over Coastal Carolina (9-7, 2-5 ASUN) on Thursday at Brooks Stadium. The Lady Flames' suffocating defense limited the Chanticleers to just one goal in the second half.
Katie Colavito led the effort for the Lady Flames with two goals, including the game-winner, from six shots. Freshman Sophia Nesci contributed significantly, scoring twice and adding an assist. Ava Rajala was active on the field, recording a goal and two assists. Rachel Hines stood firm in goal, making 10 saves on 21 shots faced.
The Lady Flames improve to 5-1 on the road this season. Their only blemish being a 9-8 2OT loss at USF. Liberty has now won three straight against Coastal Carolina and improved to 11-4 in the all-time series.

Vang cashed in a free position shot to extend the lead and Christensen added another goal from a free position, further solidifying Liberty's control.
