
Liberty Walks Off Harvard on Campos’ Double 5-4

After seeing the Crimson score three in the eighth to tie the game at 4-4, Liberty rallied in the home half of the ninth for the victory. Third baseman Jaxon Sorenson led off the inning with a single and moved to second on a passed ball. After recording two outs, Campos ripped a 1-1 pitch over the center fielder's head to plate Sorenson for the 5-4 walk-off win.
Sorenson had two hits and an RBI and scored two runs in the game for the Flames. Left fielder Nick Barone also had two hits and an RBI triple for Liberty. He drove in two runs and plated a run in the contest.
With the victory, the Flames sweep the Crimson and run their record to 11-3 on the year. Harvard falls to 0-9.
