LYNCHBURG, VA. – The Liberty Flames erased a two-run deficit in the fourth inning en route to an 11-7 victory over the Harvard Crimson to extend their winning streak to eight games Saturday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Catcher Tucker Moore hit his first home run of the season in the second inning and center fielder Josh Campos and shortstop Tanner Marsh belted back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning for the Flames in the victory. Also, Campos knocked in three runs and scored two.
Liberty relievers Josh Swink and Tyler August combined to yield an unearned run over the final six innings.
The Flames up their record to 10-3 on the season. Harvard drops to 0-8.
