
Liberty Men’s and Women’s Tennis Host Simultaneous Matches Friday and Sunday

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Flames and men's (5-7) and women's (8-3) tennis teams will host a pair of simultaneous home matches at the Liberty Tennis Complex on Friday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
On Friday, the women's team will be in action in the lower stadium courts against ETSU (7-2), while the men's team will take on Georgia State (3-5) on the upper courts.
On Sunday afternoon, the men's team will be featured in the lower stadium courts meeting William & Mary (3-4), while the women's team will match up against Memphis (2-9).
The men's team is coming off a testing 1-2 weekend in the eight-team, Diablos Collegiate Invitational, in Tempe, Ariz. The Flames topped No. 61 Washington (4-1) to begin the event but suffered defeats against No. 11 Arizona State (4-0) and No. 31 (4-1).
The women's team is seeking a five-game winning streak after they bested Marshall (4-3) and East Carolina (4-0) over the weekend.
