TEMPE, Ariz. – The Liberty Flames (5-7) showed promise against challenging competition, securing a 4-1 triumph over No. 61 Washington on Friday while falling in two matches at the Diablos College Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. Liberty was unable to stack victories with a pair of losses to No. 11 Arizona State (12-3), 4-0, and No. 31 UC Santa Barbara (8-5), 4-1, on Saturday
