
Liberty Splits Twin Bill with No. 25 West Virginia

Shortstop Tanner Marsh had a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the second to give Liberty a 3-0 lead in game two, while four pitchers combined to allow one run in the Flames' game two victory.
In game one, West Virginia scratched across single runs in the fifth and sixth innings en route to a 2-0 victory. Four Mountaineer pitchers combined to limit the Flames to three hits in the win.
With the spilt, Liberty evens its record at 3-3. West Virginia moves to 5-1 on the year.
