PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – No. 2 seed Liberty, the 13th-ranked team in the nation, was edged 1-0 by No. 3 seed Old Dominion, Friday evening in the 2026 BIG EAST Championship semifinals at Temple's Howarth Field.
Liberty drops to 12-6 overall on the season and sees its bid for a second straight BIG EAST Championship title end. Old Dominion (14-4) avenges its regular season loss to the Lady Flames and will face No. 1 seed Connecticut (15-1) in Sunday's BIG EAST Tournament final at noon.
