Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I always wanted to grow as a person and be able to try new things, and I thought that Liberty with its culture was the perfect place to do that.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
For pregame I listen to music with my headphones, and for the postgame I try to do something that is not involved with field hockey to clear my mind.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom is my inspiration. I love that she is capable of adapting to everything no matter what, and always with a positive mindset. She is a disciplined and kind person. I also want to include Tomi, and my two brothers who are always there for me. My family means everything to mean, I couldn’t be here without them.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My most memorable athletic accomplishment was in March 2024 when I was selected for the pre-U21 National Team in Argentina that is called "Leoncitas."
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I picked number 12 because my grandma and my mom used to wear that number when they played professionally, and I feel that it represents us. It's like our lucky number.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My mom Antonela played on the volleyball national team from Italy, and my dad Mario played professional soccer for 22 years, as well as on the Argentinian National team in 2006.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
My favorite meal is my mom's empanadas, this is an Argentinian meal that I love. I also love the pasta that my grandma makes. These meals are special for me because we usually eat them at lunch all together, so it brings me good memories.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I always open WhatsApp first, to say good morning to my family.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Listening to music.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have a dog called Coco, I love him.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Messi and Luciana Aymar
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
I would love to go to any place that has a beach, like Maldivas or Hawaii.
