
No. 24 DBU Shuts Out Liberty in Regular Season Finale

LYNCHBURG, VA. – Three No. 24 Dallas Baptist pitchers combined to pitch a no-hitter as the Patriots defeated the Flames 6-0 in the final game of the 2025 regular season Saturday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Pitchers Mason Peters, Luke Pettit and Nick Bonn combined to hold the Flames without a hit. The trio combined to strike out 11 and did not walk a batter. The trio allowed Liberty only two base runners in the contest, a hit by pitch and on a three-base error.
Liberty ends its regular season with a 30-25 overall record and a 10-17 mark in CUSA play. Dallas Baptist finishes its regular season as the CUSA regular season champion. The Patriots move to 38-14 overall and 21-6 in conference action.
