Turning Point
- Liberty jumped ahead 5-1, scoring three in the first and two in the second.
 - The Bearkats narrowed the gap to 6-4 with a two-run sixth inning, but the Lady Flames put the game out of reach with three runs in the home half.
 
- Liberty outhit Sam Houston 10-7 for the game, with the Lady Flames committing one error. The Bearkats left nine runners on base compared to Liberty stranding four.
 - Paige Bachman (9-2) earned the win, allowing two unearned runs on four hits in 3 1/3 innings of relief. Liberty starter Kaylan Yoder allowed two runs on three hits, walking four and fanning five in 3 2/3 innings.
 - Tiffany Sanchez (5-2) drew the loss, allowing five runs on four hits, walking two and striking out one in two total innings. Makenzi Jenkins pitched four innings of relief.
 - Rachel Roupe went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and one run scored. Brynn McManus (1-for-1) and Brooke Roberts (1-for-4) both homered and drove in three runs each, while KK Madrey went 1-for-3 and stole her 38th base of the season.
 - For Sam Houston, Samantha Graeter went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, one RBI and two runs scored. Allie Saville batted 2-for-4 with one run scored.Â
 
- Liberty is now 3-2 all-time against Sam Houston in softball, including 3-1 during their shared time in Conference USA.
 - The Lady Flames have won at least 16 conference games every full year since 2016. Â
 - Paige Doerr improved her hitting streak to 13 games, while Savannah Woodard has reached in 15 games in a row.
 - Madrey is now in sole possession of second place all-time at Liberty with 81 stolen bases during her time as a Lady Flame.
 - Roupe's 18 doubles this season are the most by a Lady Flame since Autumn Bishop's 21 doubles in 2021.
 - Roupe now ranks third all-time at Liberty with 53 career doubles, passing Ashley Williams (2005-08) tonight. The senior also moved into eighth in program history with 216 career hits, passing Katie Zavodny (2011-14) today.
 - Alyssa Henault is 8-for-16 as a pinch hitter this season.Â
