
New Mexico St. Edges Liberty 8-7 in 10 Innings

Trailing 7-5 in the top of the ninth, the visiting Aggies scored two runs to tie the game and then pushed across a run with a two-out single by Steve Solorzano in the 10th inning for the 8-7 lead.
Solorzano retired the Flames in order in the bottom of the 10th for the victory.
Liberty first baseman Jaxon Sorenson hit two home runs, drove in three RBI and scored two runs in the game. Flames right fielder Camden Troyer also hit a home run.
The Flames fall to 1-2 in CUSA and 17-8 overall. The Aggies move to 2-1 in conference and 13-11 overall.
