
Men’s Tennis Travels for a Pair of Matches

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Flames tennis team hits the road for a set of matches at No. 44 Penn (14-5) on Friday and visiting Elon (4-6) on Tuesday. Friday's match is set for a 1 p.m. start in Philadelphia, Pa., while Tuesday's tilt is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Elon, N.C.
The Flames are coming off splitting matches last week falling 5-2 at home to Gardner-Webb on March 10 and topping William & Mary 4-3 on the road on March 12.
Liberty is facing Penn in a dual match for the first time in program history. The Flames have participated in the Penn Invitational in the Fall season for the past three consecutive years.
The Flames are meeting Elon for the 17th time in program history, with a 6-10 all-time series record. Liberty topped the Phoenix 4-3 at home on April 7 last season.
