Three Flames Set Off to Compete at the ITA All-American Championships

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty men's tennis team will be sending three Flames, Rodrigo Santiago Arraez, Siwanat Auytayakul and Benjamin Sparks, to compete at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. The tournament, beginning Saturday, is being held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center at Tulsa and the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Okla.

The nine-day event begins on Saturday with pre-qualifying for the first two days of the event.

Arraez and Auytayakul will be going to the event for the second straight season. Sparks will be making his debut at the event.

Tournament Breakdown

Liberty returns six to the 2026-27 roster from last season, including all three participants at the ITA All-American Championships this weekend.
All three Flames will begin the event in the pre-qualifying round that begins with 160 athletes. To advance to the qualifying bracket, each Flame would need to win three matches.
Ten singles players (10) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two feed-in consolation finalists).
