
4-Run Eighth Pushes Liberty Past Princeton 6-4

Held to two runs on three hits through the first seven innings, the Flames erupted in the eighth. First baseman Jaxon Sorenson's RBI single moved Liberty to within one at 4-3, and two batters later and runners at the corners, right fielder Camden Troyer ripped a one-out double down the left field line to give the Flames the lead.
Troyer had two hits and drove in three runs for Liberty. He was joined by Sorenson, who also had two hits.
With a win in the opening game of the four-game series, Liberty snaps its two-game losing streak and moves to 12-6 on the season. Princeton falls to 3-11.
