Turning Point
- Liberty scored in every inning and turned a 7-3 lead into a 17-3 cushion by scoring 10 runs in the top of the fifth. The fifth-inning barrage was punctuated by Alexia Carrasquillo's grand slam. Â Â
- Liberty outhit Marshall 13-4, with the Lady Flames committing one error. Â Â
- Elena Escobar (8-1) earned the win, allowing three runs on three hits, walking two and striking out seven in 3 1/3 innings. Paige Bachman allowed three unearned runs on one hit, walking one and striking out four in 1 2/3 innings.
- Jules King (4-4) drew the loss, yielding four runs on six hits, with one strikeout in two innings.
- Alexia Carrasquillo batted 3-for-3 with a grand slam, four RBI and two runs. Rachel Roupe went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored. Brynn McManus batted 2-for-4 with a homer, three RBI and two runs.
- Marshall's runs came via three-run homers from Bub Feringa and Kasia Parks.
- Marshall leads Liberty 12-8 in the all-time series. However, the Lady Flames have won each of the last five meetings.

- Roupe registered her ninth career multiple-homer game. She trails only Jessica Moore (2005-07) in program history, as Moore had 11 career multiple-home run contests.
- Roupe extended her hitting streak to nine games, with two hits in each of the last five contests. She is the first Liberty player since Amber Bishop-Riley (6, from March 23-31, 2018) with five or more consecutive multiple-hit games.
- KK Madrey is now tied with Libi Cook (1996-99) for fourth all-time at Liberty with 66 stolen bases as a Lady Flame.
Liberty will play a three-game series at Western Kentucky, Friday through Sunday in Bowling Green, Ky. It will be a rematch of the 2024 CUSA Championship title game, which Liberty won on a walk-off double by Savannah Jessee in the ninth inning. Â
